NBC is conducting a poll to see if Americans want the words "In God We Trust" to be removed from the American currency. Here's your chance to let NBC know where you stand on your faith. Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off their web page. Click here to vote: Poll is still open so you can vote. Please note that, option#1-Yes means it's a violation of the principle of separation of church and state; Option#2-No means-the motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion. Select option#2 if you support "In God We Trust" NOT to be removed from the American currency.
Please send this to every Christian you know so they can vote on this important subject.

Hi,
I was directed to your website by a forwarded email. I can't bring myself to vote for the second category either, it seems to be as wrong as the first. The second choice says that In God we Trust is "historic" and "patriotic." I think those are not correct descriptions of the phrase, they are just excuses used to satisfy those who would like the phrase removed. I believe In God we Trust is just that: we have nothing else such as gold or silver bullion backing our currency. Our currency rests in "good faith" that one US dollar can buy one US dollars worth of goods and services. We waste so much time nitpicking over little details. Jesus Christ gave His life to write His name on my heart, not on my dollar bill. I put a dollar in the offering at church with my God's name on it, that same dollar could have been used in open circulation to pay for drugs, prostitutes, or whatever else, it still has God's name on it. Christianity today is overly obsessed with the protection of God from the government, but we still insist the Holy name of God be printed on the government's monetary units. Don't ever loose sight of the battle, I am not fighting the US government for control over its currency, I am fighting the devil for the souls of men with a price already paid by Christ, a battle already won. All that matters to God is that my name is written on His hands. Isaiah 49:16 |

The problem we are facing in this country is because we are nejecting our Almighty God. I hope, at this stage, our leaders must understand the seriousness of this.
