    Watch Your "Life" Closely

Watch Your "Life" Closely (1st Timothy 4:16). The Bible exhorts all born again believers to maintain an ethical life & be reflectors of the light of the Gospel through Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 2:14-16, Apostle Paul says that God “through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the ones who are perishing we are the aroma of death leading to death, and among those who are saved we are the aroma of life leading to life”. Since God has placed every born-again child of God with so great a responsibility, it is essential that we, as His children, be willing and committed to put into practice our Christian faith on every level of human intervention.

    God's Winds

Winds are often categorized as destructive. However, the Bible accounts for a number of instances where winds were intsrumental in contsructing and recontsructing the lives of many people.

    How do you make decisions?

This is an ancient story.  Israelites were led by Joshua into two magnificent victories – defeating cites of Jericho and Ai on their way to possess the Promised Land. This spread panic around the people in the middle east part of the world.  Gibeonites were one people group who were greatly afraid of invading Israel army, and thought of a deceptive plan.  They did not want to be killed in the war like the citizens of Jericho and Ai.  ‘They went as a delegation whose donkeys were loaded with worn-out sacks and old wine skins, cracked and mended.  The men put worn and parched sandals on their feet and wore old clothes.  All the bread of their food supply was dry and moldy.’  They wanted to have treaty with Israel so that they were not killed.  The Israelites sampled (researched) the provisions and found that it was really old stuff.  May be, they were sympathetic and felt they should make treaty with them.  But Joshua and other leaders failed to enquire of the Lord and made treaty with them.  Three days later they found out that they were not from far of but their neighbours.  So, they made them slaves and not kill them.  (Taken from Joshau 9: 1-22)

This article has been crafted from the initial segment of the famous discourse of Jesus entitled as “The Sermon on the Mount”, and concentrates on Mathew 5:3-16. This article provides "10 Golden Rules to follow" that every child of God show adhere to in order to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

    Surviving Tough Times

We often hear people saying “Life is Tough” or “I am going through tough time, but hanging in there.” A man who excelled in crisis, Winston Churchill, notes, “Never, never, never, give up. A pessimist is the one who sees difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist is the one who sees opportunity in every difficulty.”

    Stay Committed

Joseph is a perfect example of God’s plan that takes a person from the Pit, through the Prison to the Palace. If God has given you a vision, he will take you through the Pit and Prison and finally take you to the Palace. (Genesis 37: 5-11)

The process of fulfillment of the dream is a painful one, and often times discouraging. In order to stay committed, one must cultivate commitment and perseverance.
