Agape Partners International

Missions

Another very busy year of ministry has all but come to a close. In addition to the ongoing counseling and speaking engagements, we had a series of youth, family, and leadership seminars in USA, Oman, Kuwait and India. These seminars have reached over 5000 people including teens, parents and leaders.

In the past two decades, Agape Partners has been working closely with community leaders, Pastors, counselors, and professionals in responding to the challenging needs of our families.  Through the "Counseling as a Mission," project, API challenges these leaders to focuses on three major areas: challenges facing our generation, role of counseling in strengthening families, and training of leaders. In addition, API is looking forward to collaborating with leaders those who are working at the grassroots level in establishing and supporting and family based counseling services.

We have an unparalleled opportunity and potential to impact lives of families who are going through difficult situations by helping them wisely, humbly and effectively. We are also hoping for resources to train and equip 5000 Counselors, Pastors and Christian leaders in counseling ministry and establish family counseling centers in India in some of the neediest places.  In these centers, it is expected that people can freely share their concerns and receive timely help. Your prayers and financial support gifts can help us to support this ministry. We are looking for $12,000 for establishing the counseling centers and training resources in different cities.  If you are moved to support API ministry, I encourage you to donate with confidence that we will apply 100% of your donation will be used for the counseling ministry.  Please make your donation via PayPal: or checks payable to ‘Agape Partners International’ and mail them to P.O. Sickle Cell Screening and Treatment Project

In 2009, API medical team screened over 900 people for Sickle Cell disease from North India. Over 540 people tested positive for the disease. Most of these people had never received any prior care.

Poverty, illiteracy, and lack of access to basic health care regularly put thousands of people in this situation. API is looking for partners/sponsors for establishing the clinic to help thousands of patients suffering from sickle cell disease. It is only by volunteer support that the needs of some of these people can be met.

“Recently three young men passed away due to sickle cell disease and lack of timely diagnosis and treatment. This is what challenged me to undertake this medical camp.”     -    Dr. Thomas Idiculla, India Trip-2009

This project is aimed to help thousands of poor patients who are suffering from sickle cell anemic disease and many others who have no other access to medical care. Major objectives: Health Education, Counseling, Blood Screening, Drug Treatment, Emergency support and Referrals.

Project Team: Dr. Tony Joseph, Dr. George Philip, Dr. Thomas Idiculla, Dr. Sheba Joseph
